Umina Beach, just over 100km north of Sydney is an ideal destination for a camping holiday with Ocean Beach Holiday Park (also known as Umina Beach Caravan Park) situated right next to the beach with some of the camping sites overlooking the ocean. The holiday park also has cabins on site for those travellers that like a bit more comfort.
Hotels and B&B’s
For some well priced hotels, motels and B&B’s, it’s worth considering Avoca accommodation with m much of it right on the beautiful coast. Also, Gosford is just twenty minutes by car from the coast and the amount of accommodation options keeps the prices down. Central Coast hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts and some great central coast apartments can all be found close to the main roads. Whilst Gosford isn’t generally the first place you think of staying whilst on holiday on the coast, it is a well-connected hub to many of the Central Coast beaches and Bouddi National Park close by.
On the other hand, places like Avoca Beach and Copacabana are great places for surfing and other water sports being so close to the beach and having a wide range of amenities. Beach Houses and Luxury Resorts
If you have some cash to splurge, then checking into one of the resorts or renting a beautiful beach house is no problem when you are on the NSW Central Coast. Some can be in the upper range of costs so make sure you have enough money with you. That said, there are some awesome resorts dotted along the coastline and the beach houses can be just as impressive.
